Well, I finally got it on tap. It has a great flavor and it is on the spot for what I was looking to make. Very similar to my last batch, but I used Golden Promise rather than Marris Otter. Not sure how much of a difference that really makes.
There is one odd aroma that comes off the beer, right away. Not sure what it is, but it's gone within 15-20 seconds. There is no odd flavor, so I'm wounder what happened.
I plan on bringing a "sample" to this weeks club meeting - I'm hoping the odd aroma sticks around so you all can figure out what it is. It's not an infection. Also, this is the non dry-hopped keg, so it's all out there in the open. I have a second keg, which I will be dry-hopping, and will most likely cover up the aroma.
