  • MREvans: So the thought is pure lactic acid is a different sour? Pedio will go to a pH of 3.0 and its pretty slow. I'd assume its Lacto, can you add IBU's? :-)

  • scootertig: I may move it to a carboy and see what happens

  • FactoredReality: can you add lactic acid to it and cover the sour?
    September 22, 2014, 01:16:20 PM
  • FactoredReality: pedio?
    September 22, 2014, 01:15:53 PM
  • scootertig: it's an unfortunate sour - not a nice lactic-y kind. it's "darker" than that (I can't figure out how to explain)

  • webnmar: Do you happen to have the fruit syrups you can add?  How sour is it? If it's just getting started, maybe you can save it with a bar of syrups to add to it and people can make their own creation.
